The PD-MDCNC is a large clinical database with comprehensive information of Parkinson's disease and movement disorders, such as information regarding clinical diagnosis and treatment, outcomes at follow-up, imaging characteristics, environmental factors, biomarkers, genomics, and biospecimens. In order to better distinguish between cases and healthy controls, the PD-MDCNC also established a health cohort, including 3,000 pairs of PD cases-healthy controls, 1,000 elderly individualsin the community, etc., to carry out epidemiological studies on environmental, genetic, and age-related factors, as well as prospective cohort studies.
